Central Florida golf communities allow people to live close to one of their favorite activities. I must tell you, I was bitten by the golf bug many years ago when my father-in-law took me to a course fit for my nonexistent skills, i.e., a glorified pasture. After my first round, I found the game to be incredibly challenging and felt I was up for the challenge (or at least up for the fun on the course).

Some of my favorite memories of those years are the days I dropped my wife off at work and then met my father-in-law for a day of golf. We would play as many holes as we possibly could until we had to pick up our respective wives from their jobs. It was a tough life, but someone had to do it to keep the golf courses open.

There are many great central Florida golf communities available for people to choose from at this time, and new areas are being developed on a regular basis. Just the other day, I received a promotion from a new golf course community in Florida and was tempted to move. With so many choices, finding the right place for you may seem difficult.

An important first step is knowing how much money you have available for living in (or just visiting) central Florida golf communities. You will also want to find out how nice the course is in the particular community youre considering and whether or not it meets your skill level. Living near a course that is too hard or too easy can become frustrating over time. You need to know what other aspects of the community are appealing to you, because you cannot play golf all of the time, and will need other things to do as well.
